Parasites: Human Predators

We tend to be at the top of the food chain since we have lots of ways to protect ourselves from big animals, but there's type of predator that can live undetected forever: parasites.

I first understood parasites as a kind of serious human predator a few years ago when I started a plant medicine treatment with herbal teas. It changed my life.

I knew that parasites existed as potential source of infectious diseases, but I didn’t know that about 80% of adults test positive for parasites, and that of the about 3,200 parasite species, we can only test for about 50-60 of them. Wow.

Parasites tend to live in our gut, but they can also live in our eyes and brain and some on our skin or hair (these tend to be visible). Hosting parasites is normal. Almost every one of us has some kind of parasite, whether we’d like to admit it or not. It is also believed that specific parasites species are common in specific families.

Parasites especially feed off all kinds of sugar including alcohol and wheat flour, as well as cheese and milk. It’s not a coincidence that the foods we tend to crave the most are the ones that feed our parasites. They call for them, and we can feel it.

The problem with parasites is that they consume micronutrients and enzymes that are meant for our body. Parasites indirectly affect all of our body’s systems, since these systems need those stolen nutrients to function at their best.

The good news is that it’s relatively easy to get rid of parasites in most cases except if there’s an infection, in which case specific medical treatment is necessary.

In most cases drinking specific herbal teas or ingesting clove and thyme for example, helps to kill parasite eggs in our intestinal tract. Killing parasites and their eggs tends to give us more energy and calms our mind. You’ll probably discover a new way of feeling alive…

There are also so-called energetic parasites that live in electromagnetic fields. Both physical and energetic parasites (in a way they are all energetic parasites) produce bad thoughts, insecurity, lack of determination, fatigue and nightmares.

When we deparasite, we become more aware of bad thoughts as they diminish, our dreams are nicer, and we feel our will more forcefully.

Parasites are everywhere, but they are especially prevalent in water, pet hair, contaminated soil, fruit and vegetables and even the air. This is why smudging is also great. The smoke from smudging gets rid of parasites in the air and in our electromagnetic field.
