The Quality of Our Perception
We enhance the quality of our perception when we are coherent versus incoherent
The groundbreaking neuroscientist Jacobo Grinberg-Zylberbaum mysteriously disappeared in Mexico in 1994. Gringberg-Zylberbaum had written more than 40 books on the workings of consciousness and the qualities of human perception.
According to his findings, our perception is of better quality when it is coherent, in contrast to when it is incoherent. What does this mean?
Let’s start with perception. What is it? Perception includes sensing reality, interpreting events, and making judgments. Our brain organizes and structures information. Making interpretations is part of perception. Perception is, then, an active state. But why is this useful?
When we organize information more coherently, we can live in an awakened state of luminous unity. It’s simple to understand. Check it out:
Coherent perception considers life experiences more abstractly and united. When we perceive coherently, we easily feel part of a greater and unified whole. High-quality perception involves feeling less individualistic, less egotistical, and more a part of the collective.
